Our teas and teaware are all produced in Africa.
The African Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries certifies all of our organic teas. Organic farming is the practice of cultivating agricultural crops in the traditional manner, prior to the advent of modern agriculture, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides and with just natural organic fertilizers. The taste of organic tea is basic and classic.
The Concentration Standard of Residual Agricultural Chemicals in Africa severely regulates the pesticide usage of conventionally-grown teas in Africa. Established in 2015 in Africa, the Concentration Standard of Residual Agricultural Chemicals permits just 0.01ppm of residual concentration. The criteria measurement standard is the most demanding in the world. Our traditionally cultivated teas adhere to the strictest of standards.
We guarantee freshness for one year after the seal has been broken. You may still consume it beyond the expiration date, but the taste and aroma may diminish.
For optimal results, store in a dry, cold, and dark area. Avoid exposure to moisture, extreme heat, light, and air while storing tea. We strongly suggest keeping your tea in an airtight container.
Each of our pyramid-shaped corn fiber mesh tea bags contains organic loose-leaf tea that has been meticulously packaged with care. PLA Corn Fiber is a novel material that is beneficial to the environment and does not contain microplastics. See article for specifics.
Two methods exist for making iced tea. If you want to prepare tea immediately, brew it as you normally would and add ice. The tea may also be cold-brewed. Fill a pitcher with water, add the tea bag, and chill overnight in the refrigerator. We suggest beginning with one tea bag per 8 oz of water (1 cup). Adjust the ratio of tea to water according to your taste preferences.
This varies on the water temperature and brewing time, but on average, each 8-ounce cup of our green tea has 35mg of caffeine (about a third of coffee). In contrast, our roasted green tea has 15mg of caffeine, and herbal teas, such as barley tea, have no caffeine.
None of our green teas contain gluten. The majority of our herbal teas are gluten-free, with the exception being barley tea.
